Casa de Mis Amigos
Jaime created this jungle dream house on Stone Island, near Mazatlan, Mexico. Winter 2010 we are helping him live his dream by forming an art collective based at the house. Casa de Mis Amigos has 12 beds and space for a library and workshop. The bottom floors are mostly sand and there's no glass in the windows. There are caves and a waterfall, and it is hard to tell where outside ends and inside begins.
The house is a place to find others of like mind, learn through skill sharing workshops, and spread our joy out into the world. It is all about organization, creativity, play and living in common-unity. Hjeron of Myth Makers will facilitate a circus theatre training camp, and I have contacts in the school system and at orphanages where we will volunteer, so that will all be a big part of it too.
Our mission is creating cultural exchange summer camp scenes to inspire humanitarians, community builders, artists, visionaries, and revolutionaries. We are fun-loving people who know what they want from life and are not afraid to go get it, by helping others get what they need.

These are quotes from Jaime:
"Help us live in paradise. All a person needs to live here is to help us live in paradise. Friendship is the most important thing, not money. You need to make the other person live in paradise. Gifts of moments of happiness. You need to convince them to live in the most beautiful way. Friends forever on the most beautiful path. If I am able to do your will you are very happy with me. Love this house.
The first law. Love this house like your own house. You come here to live, sleep, cook... it is your house.
Law two. Everything goes in it's place. You need to put everything in it's place. You wash it and put it in it's place. If you see there is no toilet paper you go buy toilet paper, or oil or eggs.... if you don't have money for it.... collect it from everyone, and go get it.
Law three. If you have a beautiful book, you need it here for everyone. A library and a guest book that connects everyone who comes to this place-- with emergency contacts. The memories of this house, the history, the diary.
Law four. Form a group to live in harmony, peace & happiness for all. One is not important here--- everyone is important. Only harmony, rest and trust. Only looking for true friendship. No reason to be angry in this house. Brotherhood is most important. You need to learn to adapt to the group. Respect all the group. You are going to love all the persons living in the house."

Jose's Cob Palapa on Stone Island
This location changed my life forever when I landed here in 2000 by kayak from Vancouver. I lived in these huts with a dozen travelers from around the world and it was one of the best times of my life. Jose built these palapa huts out of all natural and found materials and seeks helps to continue building with cob and bottles. Wanna help create paradise?
