TimeDesk, my new company motivates long term unemployed people in Holland to take charge of their own destiny and end their dependence on state benefit. The goal is to turn the human humiliation of Work First initiatives into a vibrant, stimulating and fun way of taking care of your own life by saying goodbye to bureaucracy. We are the initiator of Andernemend Nederland, unknown today, but a high potential before December 31 2008!

We are also project desk for VillageTalk, a creative network of forward thinking people looking for alternative ways to coach the African Cheetah generation about how to connect their community to the Internet and create a sustainable business model to move into the 21st century without leaning on charity and development aid. Bunabumali is VillageTalks demo project, showing what can be achieved if you make smart use of Internet, solar energy.

In an earlier life I worked for a number of travel agents and tour operators and a brief period at the Radison SAS Hotel in Amsterdam before I started my own hotel reservation service. I was representative for LRI Hotel reservations, until it is was bought by UTELL and pioneerd Landlink, a dynamic packaging system created by Jetset tours in the pre- internet era. I have now switched career and concentrate microblogging and related technology.

Specialties:

I operate out of a strong sense of vision, while letting the detailed course of implementation emerge from the evolving situations being faced. I build on ideas, actions and events that they create, or spontaneously come their way. I have "plans;" but don't implement plans and don't want to be constrained by plans. I know where I would like to go but do not always know the route by which I am going to get there!
